Tips for road travelers

        • Make sure a friend or family member knows the itinerary and arrival time.

        • Check the weather beforehand along the route and at the destination.

        • Keep a blanket, flares, candles, a flashlight, and fresh water and some food in the vehicle in case of an outage or cold weather.

        • I-75 (Kentucky): Construction from I-275 south to just below I-71/75 split; some construction in southern Kentucky.

        • I-75 (Tennessee): Construction around Knoxville and Chattanooga.

        • I-71 (Kentucky): Construction south of Carrollton.

        • I-65 (Kentucky): Construction north of Bowling Green.
