1. Wyoming

Cincinnati Hills League

Outlook: Wyoming coach Deb Gentile is only four victories away from 400 (396-97). Wyoming's veteran squad, won't let this be a problem.

Three-year starter Maria McCarthy, a 6-foot-3 senior center, will anchor a Wyoming team that returns 10 letter winners. Among those returnees are Jenni McGee, Laura Verhaeghe, Monica Hoyles, Marla Anderson and Mary Bell.

“Experience and speed are two of our strengths,” Gentile said. “We will be very quick which will make the trapping defense more effective.”
