New Richmond-Chaminade Scouting Report

WHO: New Richmond (11-0) vs. Chaminade-Julienne(9-2)

        DIVISION: III

WHEN/WHERE: 7p.m. today, Roettger Stadium, Lockland High School, Lockland.

        TICKETS: $5 at gate

        SEATING: 6,000

        LAST WEEK: New Richmond 44, Logan Elm 12; Chaminade-Julienne 30, Eaton 12.

KEY PLAYERS: New Richmond: Quarterback Matt Armbruster (958 yards rushing); fullback Matt Godsey (865 yards rushing); tailback John McMonigle (1,002 yards rushing). Chaminade-Julienne: Quarterback Jeff Zollman (1,501 yards passing); tailback James Hill 753 rushing; receiver Angelo Chattams (70 receptions for 953 yards and 555 yards rushing); receiver Andre Chattams (28 receptions for 603 yards).

WHAT TO WATCH: Keeping the ball out of the hands of Angelo Chattams will be a tough job for the New Richmond defense.

But the Eagles are a turnover- and penalty-prone team, having lost the ball 30 times.

Quarterback Zollman, who throws about 15 passes a game, has been intercepted four times while the receivers and running backs have fumbled 36 times. C-J also averages more than seven penalties a game.

If the Eagles have a weakness, it's on defense. New Richmond must control the ball on the ground.
