Midnight Madness schedules


UC, Xavier, Miami, Kentucky

        CINCINNATI

        At Shoemaker Center

        7 p.m. — Doors open

        8 p.m. — UC volleyball vs. Alabama Birmingham

        10 p.m. (following volleyball match) — Highlight videos

        10:30 — UC dance team performs

        10:39 — Intramural free-throw contest and 3-point shooting finals

        11:11 — Introduction of women's basketball team and coach Laurie Pirtle

        11:27 — Women's 3-point contest

        11:50 — Introduction of men's coach Bob Huggins

        Midnight: Bearcats take the court

        12:07 a.m. — Dunk competition

        12:20 — Scrimmage

        XAVIER

       At Cintas Center

        9-11 p.m. — Pre-event party in front of main entrance.

        9:30 p.m. — Doors open

        10:30 p.m. — On-court activities, beginning with Xavier's men's basketball alumni game. XU coaches Skip Prosser and Melanie Balcomb will address the crowd.

        Midnight — Introductions of both teams. Women's scrimmage, followed by men's scrimmage.

       MIAMI

        At Millett Hall

        9 p.m. — Doors open, Jack Friday concert

        11 p.m. — Contests, giveaways:

        Midnight — Player introductions

        12:27 a.m. — Women's scrimmage

        12:39 a.m. — Men's scrimmage

        12:49 a.m. — Men's basketball slam-dunk contest

        KENTUCKY

       

       At Memorial Coliseum

       (Tickets sold out. Event will be televised on Insight Ch.6 in Northern Kentucky, beginning at 11:30 p.m.)

        7 p.m. — UK volleyball vs. Florida (the Coliseum will be cleared after the match)

        10 p.m. — Doors re-open

        10:30 p.m. — Program begins. Theme is “Survivor: Outhustle, Outplay, Outlast”

        Midnight — Men's basketball team introduced. Dunk contest and team scrimmage follow.
