Western Hills 17, Withrow 12
Withrow had a fourth-and-4 on the Western Hills 15 with less than a minute to go when Sean Love looked for Warith Majid in the endzone. West Hi's Mark Longmire broke up the pass to preserve the win for the Mustangs.
The West Hi defense was also responsible for a touchdown.
The Mustangs hit Love in the endzone and forced the ball loose. Thomas Seibert fell on the ball to give West Hi a two touchdown advantage.
Love connected with Majid for touchdown throws of 80 and 15 yards. The Withrow quarterback was 6-for-19 for 186 yards in the game, though he did throw two interceptions.
Kevin Furlow had a 4-yard touchdown run and totaled 96 yards on 21 carries for Western Hills.
