McComb twins bring opponents double trouble
By TIM PUET
Associated Press Writer
The Aldrich brothers, Dusty and Rusty, have been twin terrors for McComb's opponents all season, and their performance last week was their best yet.
Rusty caught 19 passes from Dusty against Dola Hardin Northern for what the Ohio High School Athletic Association said was a state record, breaking the mark of 18 set in 1970 by Dayton Wilbur Wright's Jack Schulte and tied last year by Willard's Chad Carr.
Rusty finished with 224 yards receiving and four touchdowns in the 41-14 victory, while Dusty was 28-for-34 for 288 yards.
McComb has outscored opponents 322-14 in its six victories and the Rusty-Dusty show may be at the beginning of a long run, since the twins are juniors.
