Morgan ready for Kroger; pro-am today




The Cincinnati Enquirer

        Gil Morgan, a three-time winner on the Senior PGA Tour this season, defends his title at this week's $1.4 million Kroger Senior Classic at the Golf Center at Kings Island.

        Morgan trails only Bruce Fleisher ($2,085,406), Larry Nelson ($1,938,355), Hale Irwin ($1,825,348) and Dana Quigley ($1,614,853) on the Senior PGA Tour season money list with $1,461,310. All five are entered in the Kroger Classic.

        The tourney's pro-am begins today, with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and concludes Thursday.
