Simon Kenton surges past Woodford Co.

        Daniel Morrison rushed for 244 yards on 20 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead Simon Kenton over Woodford County 33-14 Friday night in Versailles.

        With the score tied 14-14 entering the fourth quarter, the Pioneers' defense clamped down and held Woodford County scoreless. Simon Kenton scored 19 points to seal the victory.

        Paris 28, Ludlow 6 at Ludlow — Bruce Shaw broke free for a 94-yard run on second-and-31 with 6:25 to play in the fourth quarter to give Paris the lead for good.

        Following Shaw's run, Paris scored on two touchdown passes from Odel Cosby to Michael Young in a three-minute span. Shaw finished with 188 yards on 20 carries.
