LAS VEGAS — IBF bantamweight champion Tim Austin of Cincinnati successfully defended his title for the fifth time Friday night.

The former Olympian outpointed Arthur Johnson in a one-sided 12-round bout.

Austin, 29, won by 120-108 scores on all three judges' cards in raising his record to 21-0-1. He weighed 1173/4 pounds.

Johnson, 34, who weighed 117 pounds, dropped to 20-5.

On the undercard at the Paris Hotel and Casino, former WBC heavyweight champion Oliver McCall took a 10-round split decision over Sedreck Fields, his ninth straight victory.

The 248-pound McCall, the only fighter to beat current WBC and IBF heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, is 37-7. Fields is 10-11.
