Gullikson to present award to survivor

The Cincinnati Enquirer

MASON — The second annual Tim Gullikson Spirit Award will be presented here Saturday night to Samantha Jane Scolamiero, 30, a brain-tumor survivor who created BRAINTMR, the world's first on-line network to help brain-tumor patients and their families. It is a free, 24-hour support service.

Gullikson, who coached Pete Sampras, died of a brain tumor in 1996.

Tom Gullikson, chairman of the Tim & Tom Gullikson Foundation, will present the award.
