ST. LOUIS — Cincinnati's D.J. Bucher finished second all-around in the 14-15 age group at the men's junior national gymnastics championships Wednesday.

Bucher, a Mason resident who trains at Queen City Gymnastics club, tied for second in the all-around com petition with a 50.100 score. He also tied for second on the pommel horse with an 8.45 and took second on the parallel bars with an 8.650. Bucher probably will be named to the U.S. junior national team Friday.

Queen City's Aaron Rakes placed eighth overall.
