Results of our news poll

Each weekend, we pose a question about a topic in the news. This weekend's question was:

Are you in favor of dropping, easing or retaining the economic sanctions the United States has had in place against Cuba for nearly 40 years?

        We got 54 responses.

        • Drop the sanctions; it's the best hope of bringing change to Cuba: 35% (19)

        • Drop the sanctions; they haven't worked: 13% (7)

        • Ease the sanctions and evaluate the effect on Cuba: 24% (13)

        • Keep the sanctions as long as Cuba has a Communist government: 28% (15)

        Thanks to everyone who participated.
