This is 79th in a series spotlighting pigs from the Big Pig Gig Public Art Project taking place in Cincinnati, Covington and Newport. Find past pig profiles and event details at Cincinnati.com/bigpiggig

Artist:Becky Ruehl, 23, Lakeside Park. Ms. Ruehl, is a graphic designer who competed in the 1996 Olympics as a diver. She had to finish her pig in a hurry so she could compete in the Olympic trials.

Sponsor: Atkins & Pearce Technology for Cincinnati 2012 Inc.

This pig's pen: Fourth and Vine streets, downtown.

You were inspired by: Greek red figure pottery (red designs on a black background).

What's the pig idea? The pig carries the Olympic torch and wears a crown of laurel leaves.

Completing the project took: 100 plus hours.

What's the matter? Acrylic paint, vinyl lettering.

Your high on the hog was: The pig wears the Olympic medal with the Olympic creed. The recital of the creed was my favorite part of the opening ceremonies at the (1996) Olympics.

        Pig peeve: Pig deadlines.

Best pig tale: My parents had to transport the pig in the back of a pick-up truck. Some friends gave them pig noses to wear. While my mom drove the truck, my dad sat in the back hugging the pig to keep it from flying away. It was quite a sight.

My favorite pork dish: Mini barbecue ribs my mom makes.

        The materials cost: About $300.

Do you consider this art or porkography? A little of both and a lot of fun.

If your pig starred in a movie, who would you cast to play the role? A young Charlton Heston.
