7-year-old hits ace

By John Erardi
The Cincinnati Enquirer

The Enquirer normally doesn't publish holes-in-one, but because this one was shot by a 7-year-old on a full-size golf course, we're making an exception for Andrew Dorn of West Chester.

He aced the 137-yard (red tees) No. 12 hole at Walden Ponds in Hamilton on Monday. He used a metal 3-wood.

“He hit a little fade to the front of the green and the ball bounced three times, hit the pin and disappeared,” said his father, Tom.

Andrew, who will be in the second grade, plays two to three times a week, usually with his dad.
