The American Film Institute salutes America's funniest films with Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, Cameron Diaz, Tim Allen, Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks and Cincinnati's Julie Haggarty on AFI's 100 Years ... 100 Laughs (8-11 p.m., Channels 12, 7).

        TV Critic John Kiesewetter also says Survivor fans may want to check out the show which started the genre, The Real World, which debuts a new season from New Orleans (10 p.m., MTV).
