May Festival tenor cancels

        Tenor Jon Fredric West, scheduled to sing in the Cincinnati May Festival on Saturday, is indisposed and will be unable to perform, the May Festival has announced.

        Instead, Mark Lundberg will sing the tenor part in Mahler's Symphony No. 8, “Symphony of a Thousand.” Mr. Lundberg's engagements include his debut in the title role of Wagner's Siegfried at Chicago's Lyric Opera. Mr. West will sing in the May Festival's Gurre-Lieder on May 27, as scheduled.
