Munoz lifts Moeller onto fast track

The return of Michael Munoz sparked Moeller into a 101/2-point lead over St. Xavier after the first day of the Division I district track meet at Anderson.

Out most of the season with an ankle injury, Munoz easily won the discus (166-7) and shot put (55-53/4).

In the Division I district at Fairfield, the Colerain boys placed in all of the field events to take a 36-30 lead over LaSalle.

The Princeton girls scored 37 points in the four field events to take over first place in the Division I district meet at Anderson with Mount Notre Dame a close second.

McAuley (22 points), Lakota East (20), Harrison (20), Mercy (17) and Colerain (151/2) are bunched in the Division I district at Fairfield, after the four field events.
