Blue Jackets to play exhibition at Gardens
BY JOHN WISE

The NHL expansion Columbus Blue Jackets and Cincinnati Mighty Ducks announced Saturday the Blue Jackets will play an exhibition game against the Florida Panthers at the Cincinnati Gardens Sept. 29.
The Blue Jackets announced several weeks ago they would play an exhibition game in Cincinnati, but were uncertain about whether it would be played at the Gardens, where the AHL Mighty Ducks play, or Firstar Center, home of the IHL Cyclones.
It just makes sense to play in an AHL building since we'll be having an AHL affiliation with Syracuse, said Todd Sharrock, public relations director for the Blue Jackets.
Tickets will go on sale this summer.
