Hamilton 5, Mighty Ducks 4
Cincinnati blows 4-0 lead
The Cincinnati Enquirer
HAMILTON, Ontario No team, least of all one battling for its Calder Cup playoff life, can afford missed opportunities this deep into an AHL season. The Mighty Ducks know all about that after Wednesday night's 5-4 overtime loss to Hamilton.
The Ducks appeared headed to a much-needed victory with a 4-0 lead.
But instead of winning to inch closer to Louisville for the fourth and final playoff berth in the Mid-Atlantic Division, the Mighty Ducks surren dered four third-period goals.
Daniel Cleary completed the Bulldogs' comeback with a goal in overtime.
