Cammy tickets on sale

Tickets for the fourth annual Enquirer Cincinnati Area Pop Music Awards are on sale at Ticketmaster outlets (562-4949).
Seats to the March 12 event, to take place at Electra (formerly Sycamore Gardens), are $12.50. Proceeds benefit the Michael W. Bany Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Scheduled performers in the 4-8 p.m. program include:
• Bluesman Keith Little.
• 1999 Cammy-winning alternative rock band the Fairmount Girls.
• 1998-99 hard rock winner Leap Skyward.
• The Ass Ponys.
• Keith Little with an all-star Shades of Blue band.
• An all-star jam featuring Ed Cunningham with Kentucky 31 and members of the Sunday night Comet bluegrass band.
• A special appearance by guitarist Scotty Anderson and multi-Cammy winner Steve Schmidt's organ trio.
• A special set by 15-year-old guitar whiz Ricky Veeneman, winner of the 1999 Voodoo Chile guitar competition (under-17 division) sponsored by the Jimi Hendrix Family Foundation.
• Host will be comedian/singer Blair Shannon.
In addition to a full slate of live music, the Cammys will include the presentation of awards to Tristate musicians in 30 categories. Finalists will be announced March 10.
