NKU women win 16th straight

EVANSVILLE, Ind. Freshman forward Amy Mobley scored 11 points and had 13 rebounds Saturday as Northern Kentucky University won its 16th consecutive game with a 61-48 victory over the University of Southern Indiana.
Michele Tuchfarber added 11 points as NKU improved to 24-2 overall, 19-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference. Michelle Cottrell had 13 rebounds for the Norse, who are ranked No.4 nationally in the Division II poll.
The Norse, the top seed, will play Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne in the first round of the GLVC Tournament on Wednesday.
