Cyclones 3, Kalamazoo 1
The Cincinnati Enquirer
KALAMAZOO, Mich. The Cincinnati Cyclones have always played well at K-Wings Stadium, and Saturday night they proved up to the task in a 3-0 victory.
Cincinnati, which is 18-3-2 in the building since the start of the 1994-95 season, got another strong goaltending effort from Randy Petruk.
Petruk, appearing in his first game at any level in two weeks, picked up his seventh win. Randy has allowed one goal in his last two starts at K-Wings Stadium.
The Cyclones opened the scoring in the first period, when right wing Shane Willis rifled home his IHL league-tying 27th goal of the season at the 5:29 mark.
Todd Simon and Craig Adams also scored for Cincinnati.
