Winton Woods caps first perfect season

        P.J. Mills scored 15 points as Winton Woods defeated Harrison 61-38 Friday night to complete the school district's first perfect season.

        Winton Woods finishes 20-0, 14-0 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye division. No team in Winton Woods school district history, including Forest Park and Greenhills high schools, had ever finished undefeated.

        “I think its fantastic — it's great for the school and great for the kids — something they set out to do themselves,” said Winton Woods coach David Lumpkin.

        Princeton clinched its second GMC title in three years, thanks to Middletown's 97-87 victory over Lima Senior, the sixth-ranked team in the state.

        Daniels' performance came in front of Kentucky coach Tub by Smith and Temple coach John Chaney, who were scouting him.
