Mighty Ducks 5, Louisville 1

        LOUISVILLE — Philippe Audet, Jay Legault, Rasto Pavlikovsky and Bob Wren each contributed a goal and an assist to lead the surging Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 5-1 victory over the Louisville Panthers Monday night at Freedom Hall.

        All-Star defenseman Dan Trebil also notched a goal and backup goalie Ryan Hoople made 35 saves for Cincinnati, which improved to 5-1-1-0 in its last seven games and snapped a nine-game winless streak (0-4-3-2) against Louisville.

        The Ducks trail fourth-place Hershey by 11 points with three games in hand in the AHL Mid-Atlantic Division in their quest to earn a berth in the Calder Cup playoffs.
