BALTIMORE LaMarr Greer scored 18 points as the Baltimore BayRunners defeated the Cincinnati Stuff 92-89 Friday at the Baltimore Arena.
The victory was the BayRunners' first in five games against the Stuff this season. Cincinnati fell to 18-6, and Baltimore improved to 9-16.
Tremaine Fowlkes scored 21 points to lead Cincinnati, and Alex Sanders added 17.
Sanders missed a free throw with three seconds left in the game that could have tied it. Cincinnati was 3-for-10 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
We didn't execute tonight. We missed a boat-load of free throws and we didn't rebound tonight, Stuff coach Joby Wright said.
The Stuff return home Sunday to play host to the San Diego Stingrays at 2p.m. at Firstar Center.
