Mason, up 50-0, coasts to 61-8 win
Mason, ranked No. 1 in The Enquirer's Division I poll and No. 2 in USA Today's Super 25, held Anderson scoreless for three quarters Thursday night and coasted home with a 61-8 victory.
Mason (14-0) led the young Redskins 50-0 after three quarters.
Beth Jones scored 15 points, including three 3-point goals, for the Comets, who had four players in double figures. Anderson is 3-12.
