BALTIMORE The Cincinnati Stuff opened a 22-point second-half lead and held on for a 90-85 victory over the Baltimore BayRunners at the Baltimore Arena Wednesday.
The win was Cincinnati's fifth in a row and improved its season record to 12-1. Baltimore dropped its eighth straight game.
Cincinnati leads the East Division by six games over Trenton.
Moo-Moo Blakney led Cincinnati with 21 points and Tremaine Fowlkes scored 19. Wayne Turner scored 14 and Lenny Brown added 10.
I told the guys before the game how important it was for us to start this five-game road trip with a win, said Stuff coach Joby Wright.
The Stuff travel to San Diego to face the Stingrays Saturday at 10 p.m.
