Miami signs JC forward

        The Miami RedHawks have signed Eugene Seals, a 6-foot-6 forward who averaged 16.5 points and 12.2 rebounds during his junior season at Saginaw, Mich..

        That's where MU mentor Charlie Coles coached from 1973-82.

        Seals joins previous signees Julius Johnson and Chester Mason.
