Ludlow (6-5) at Beechwood (9-2)

        • WHEN: 7:30 p.m. today

        • WHERE: Beechwood High School, 54 Beechwood Rd., Fort Mitchell

        • WHAT TO WATCH: Beechwood senior Ben List, who has excelled since moving from HB to QB a month ago, has an injured knee and is questionable. If Beechwood jumps to an early lead like it did in its 62-0 beating of Ludlow three weeks ago, it may not need him.

“They did whatever they wanted to against us,” Ludlow coach Tom Staley said.

Ludlow has a core of third-year starters who likely won't go quietly. But Beechwood is 38-2 in the playoffs under coach Mike Yeagle and has won 40 consecutive home games.

Staley, 34-39 in seven seasons, is considering retirement.

“I've done what I could for Ludlow,” he said. “I'll sit down and think it over after the season.”

        • PICK: Beechwood
