Harrison Co. (8-3) at Highlands (10-1)

        • WHEN: 7:30 p.m. today

        • WHERE: Highlands High School, 2400 Memorial Pkwy., Fort Thomas

        • WHAT TO WATCH: Five years ago, in Dale Mueller's first season as Highlands coach, the Bluebirds went to Cynthiana in the second round of the playoffs and beat previously unbeaten Harrison County in double-OT.

This isn't the year for the Thorobreds to gain revenge. Highlands has outscored opponents this fall by 30.6 points per game. It is averaging 414.4 yards per game.

“This group wants to win a state championship,” Mueller said.

Highlands continues to sizzle with the pass/run combo of junior QB Gino Guidugli (2,277 yards, 27 TDs) and senior TB Brenden Zenni (1,124 yards, 19 TDs).

Harrison County has an accomplished QB in 6-foot-4 junior Billy Faulkner, who has thrown for 1,516 yards and 16 TDs.

        • PICK: Highlands
