St. Ursula goalie gets 15th shutout

        Goalie Emily Bohart recorded her 15th shutout of the season and Tracy Veith scored her 20th goal to lead St. Ursula over Loveland 2-0 in a Division I, Cincinnati III sectional soccer game at Hopewell Elementary.

        • McAuley 4, Walnut Hills 1, Division I, Cincinnati I sectional at Oak Hills — Two goals by Nikki Lichtenfeld early in the first half set the tone for the Mohawk victory.

        • Glen Este 3, Mason 1, Division I, Cincinnati I at Sycamore — The Trojans avenged a season-ending 1-0 loss to the Comets. Rachel Maxey, Laurel Chalk and Rachel Barron scoring.

        • McNicholas 1, Seton 0, Division I, Cincinnati II at Loveland Soccer Stadium High — Lindsey Haig scored on a penalty with 30 minutes remaining.

        • Lakota West 3, Lakota East 0, Division I, Cincinnati II at Mason — Goalie Krista Kalkhoff recorded her 11th shutout.

        • Waynesville 2, Springfield Catholic 1, Dayton Division II, at Waynesville — Jessica Hupe scored twice, her 37th and 38th goals of the season for Waynesville.

        • Fairfield 3, Turpin 0, Division I Cincinnati III at Lakota West — Sherry Slye stopped seven shots to earn the shutout in her first varsity start. Kelly Kammer and Leag Eggleton scored first half-goals. • Indian Hill 4, Clinton Massie 0, Division II, Cincinnati II at Amelia — Jenna Kereiakes scored the winning goal five minutes before halftime.

        • Wyoming 3, Badin 0, Division II, Cincinnati III sectional at North College Hill — Seeded No.7, the Cowboys upset the No.4 Rams with Robin Fulton scoring off an assist from Monica Hoyles 40 seconds into the game.

        • Ross, 2, Edgewood 1, Division II, Cincinnati III at Hamilton Garfield — Freshman Janelle Brown scored off an assist from Tiffany Bogolo with 10 minutes remaining for the Rams.

        • Cincinnati Country Day 6, Seven Hills 1, Division II, Cincinnati I at Forest Hills Soccer Stadium — Natalie Geier scored three goals and Missy Vierling added two, advancing the Indians into the championship game for the first time.

        • Roger Bacon 2, Finneytown 0, Division II, Cincinnati II at Fairfield — Lisa Vondrell and Ashley Janning scored for the Spartans.

        • Madeira 3, Mariemont 2, Division II, Cincinnati I at Winton Woods Soccer Stadium — Goals by Bess Krietemeyer, Sophia Temudo and Amy Mackris late in the game rallied the Amazons.

        • Kings 1, Vandalia Butler 0, Dayton Division I at Vandalia Butler — An unassisted goal by Lauren Fox was the difference.
