FAIRFIELD 24, HAMILTON 7


Indians clinch GMC crown

        Senior running back Earl Haynes ran 35 times for 215 yards and two touchdowns to help visiting Fairfield clinch the GMC title with a 24-7 victory over Hamilton on Friday in a high school football game.

        With Lakota East's win over Lakota West, the Indians are left alone atop the GMC standings. Fairfield and Lakota West entered Friday's action tied for first at 5-1.
