Nine league footballl championships will be decided this weekend, and most games also have playoff implications.
In one of the most important matchups, Lakota East and Lakota West go head to head in the Greater Miami Conference at Galbreath Field.
If Lakota West wins, the Firebirds will tie Fairfield, provided the Indians defeat Hamilton.
A Lakota East victory coupled with a Fairfield loss would make it a three-way tie. If Lima also would win, the GMC would end in a four-way tie.
Wyoming needs a victory over Indian Hill on Saturday to clinch the Cincinnati Hills League championship. If Indian Hill wins and Madeira defeats Finneytown, the CHL will end in a three-way tie.
The Fort Ancient Valley Conference Cardinal Division belongs to Kings if it beats Loveland. Mason could lock up the FAVC Buckeye with a victory over Glen Este.
Cincinnati Country Day would claim the Miami Valley Conference championship by beating New Miami, and Batavia would win the Southern Buckeye Conference with a victory over Clermont Northeastern.
Victories by Springboro and Edgewood would wrap up the Mid-Miami League North and South titles.
Western Hills would clinch at least a tie for the Queen City Conference by beating Mount Healthy.
