        His two touchdown runs in the second half, covering 75 and 66 yards respectively, put the game away for Cathedral Prep after LaSalle had claimed a 24-20 third quarter lead.

        Michael Moore rushed 82 yards for Princeton, but it was Haynes night.

        “He stepped it up in a big way,” Fairfield coach Tom Grippa said. “We got him into the secondary and he had a big night.”

        The 330 yards is a career high for Haynes and falls just 26 yards short of Pat Pennington's single-game school record set in 1993.
