At Wilmington The Quakers dominated the game throughout the first three quarters, scoring 49 unaswered points.
The Quakers' offense came within 32 yards of setting a new school record for total offense in a game. Sophomore quarterback Adam Ryan (Elder) picked apart the Grizzlies secondary, passing for 465 yards and four touchdowns. The Quakers' de fense was led by sophomore defensive back Antonio Broadnax (Aiken) with seven tackles and a fumble return of 68 yards for a touchdown.
