Skyline serves up $50,000 to loyal customer

The Cincinnati Enquirer

Skyline Chili celebrated a birthday, but it was a loyal customer that went home with the big present.

Ben Hart, of Delhi Township, won $50,000 in a drawing Friday celebrating the restaurant's 50th birthday, said Mike Maul, company spokesman. Mr. Hart, a mail sorter for the U.S. Postal Service, plans to use the money for a vacation.

The drawing was part of a birthday celebration held at The Syndicate in Newport on Friday night.

Skyline was founded in 1949 by the Lambrinides family in Price Hill. There are now 111 stores, with locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Florida. Mr. Hart eats at least once a week at the original Price Hill store.
