OHIO FOOTBALL PREVIEW
Key games abound for top teams
BY DAVE SCHUTTE

There comes a time in every season when teams with playoff aspirations must step up and win the big game.
That time has arrived for Moeller, Lakota East and Madeira as the second half of the football season begins tonight.
Moeller, off to a disappointing 3-2 start and ranked No.4 in The Enquirer's poll, visits undefeated St.Xavier (No.2).
St.X will start Marty Mooney Jr. at quarterback, a 15-year-old sophomore who will be playing in his first Greater Catholic League game.
We probably have to be 7-3 or somewhere in that range to make the playoffs, Moeller coach Steve Klonne said. Our schedule has been tougher, but whether we're better than St.X, we'll have to wait and see.
Lakota East is seventh in the Division I Harbin Computer Rankings, and a victory over Fairfield not only would solidify a playoff spot but also would move the Thunderhawks into first place in the Greater Miami Conference.
Wyoming and Madeira are ranked first and second in Division IV, and the winner would take over first place in the Cincinnati Hills League.
