Lakota East 28, Sycamore 25
Rabin's run leads to upset
Mike Rabin scored on a 23-yard run on fourth and two with five minutes to play to lead host Lakota East past Sycamore 28-25 in a Greater Miami Conference game.
Mike Kohler did most the damage for Lakota East early in the game rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries, to keep the game close.
The win marks the first time since Lakota split into two schools that Lakota East has beaten Sycamore.
George Wells scored all but two of Sycamore's points, while rushing for 132 yards on 15 carries with three touchdowns and a field goal.
Erik Jones led Lakota East's defense by making seven tackles, including four for a loss. Lakota East stopped Sycamore with 16 seconds to play by forcing an incomplete fourth-down pass.
