St. X second in Ohio football poll




        St. Xavier, last year's Division I state runner-up, is No.2 in the first weekly Associated Press high school football poll released Tuesday.

        The Bombers (3-0) have beaten Middletown, Indianapolis Cathedral and Princeton to begin the season. They lost 33-10 to Canton McKinley in last year's state championship game. McKinley, the two-time defending champion, is ranked No.1 this year.

        Other Cincinnati schools in the top 10: Elder (No.6), Moeller (No.8).
