Koester ties school TD mark of 5

        Junior tailback Kyle Koester tied the Elder record for most touchdowns in a game with five — all in the first half — as the Panthers pounded Boone County 56-0 at The Pit Friday night.

        The Panthers, ranked third in The Enquirer's coaches poll, jumped out to a 35-0 halftime lead.

        Koester finished with 121 yards rushing and 90 yards receiving.

        Quarterback Collin Carey completed six of 10 passes for 135 yards and two TDs.

        The Elder defense limited Boone County to 16 total yards.
