East Central 40, Harrison 15




        At East Central — East Central keeps the Battle of I-74 trophy for the second straight year, defeating Harrison behind a dominating rushing attack.

        East Central was led by Pat Noble with 153 yards on 14 carries and three touchdowns. Aaron Reneau rushed for 168 yards on 22 carries and two touchdowns.

        Harrison was led by quarterback Doug Leininger with 130 yards on 13-for-26 passing.

        East Central finished the game with 390 yards rushing, while Harrison had 230 yards total offense.
