CINCINNATI FOOTBALL PREVIEW

Wyoming will try for 2nd win in a row

Wyoming High's football team will try to guard against a letdown tonight against Roger Bacon.

“The Kings victory helped us a lot and was a confidence builder,” Wyoming coach Bernie Barre said. “We started a new offensive line, and they did well.”

Playing against a Division II school for the second consecutive week won't be easy for Division IV Wyoming. Barre is concerned with Roger Bacon's size and diverse offense.

As in the first week, all of tonight's local games are non-league matchups.

Edgewood and Ross meet at Ross in one of the biggest geographical rivalries, and Purcell Marian continues its long-standing series with Winton Woods on the road.

The top Division I game features two undefeated teams, Sycamore and host LaSalle. Sycamore defeated Mason in the opener, and LaSalle upset Princeton.

When Harrison (1-0) and East Central, Ind., (2-0) get together in football, expect the unexpected. Harrison's defense must be at its best against an offense that averages nearly 350 yards a game.
