Morrison leads Simon Kenton

        Simon Kenton's Daniel Morrison scored three touchdowns in the second and third quarters to lead the Pioneers to a 38-11 win over Woodford County on Friday night.

        Morrison finished with 187 all-purpose yards.

        Quarterback Mike Ballinger led Simon Kenton to its first two scores with touchdown passes of 28 and 24 yards. Morrison scored the next two TDs with runs of 22 and 38 yards.

        Aaron Heinrich led the Pioneers with 108 rushing yards on six carries.

        • Ludlow 59, Paris 34, at Paris — Three Ludlow players rushed for more than 100 yards in the rout. Eric Arnold rushed for 158 yards on 13 carries with three touchdowns. Scott Redding added 140 yards on 16 carries and Jeremy Mills had 105 yards on 13 carries.

        The Panthers racked up 549 yards of offense.

        Newell's second touchdown toss went to Anthony Roe with 10 seconds remaining in the first half.
