How to conserve energy
• Keep thermostat set at 78 degrees or higher.
• Use fans to circulate air.
• Make sure registers are not blocked by furniture, drapes.
• Turn off unnecessary lights.
• Delay use of electric appliances, such as ovens, dishwashers, clothes dryers, until 9 p.m.
• Close blinds and curtains on the south side of the building.
• Close off unused rooms (and their air registers.)
• Turn off swimming pool pumps and filter systems.
