Boy dies week after near-drowning

        A 23-month-old Colerain Township boy hospitalized in critical condition June 15 after a near-drowning in a family swimming pool died Wednesday.

        Justin Kircher died at noon in Children's Hospital Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.

        The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said the boy was found face down in an above-ground pool by his mother at their home in the 6800 block of Sheed Road about 6:30 p.m.
