Kendle Int'l posts $1.621/2 gain

        Kendle International Inc. rose $1.621/2 on Tuesday, its second straight day of gaining more than 10 percent.

        Tim Mooney, chief financial officer and treasurer of the downtown Cincinnati clinical research and drug development company, could not offer an explanation for the rise.

        The stock has risen 30 percent since June 14, when it closed at $13. The gains had been incremental until Monday.

        Kendle increased $1.433/4, or 10.4 percent, on Monday to close at $15.25. On Tuesday, the stock closed at $16.871/2, up 10.7 percent.
