Riverhawks lose 1-0 in shootout

The Cincinnati Enquirer

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Blast scored on three of four shootout attempts to defeat the Cincinnati Riverhawks 1-0 Friday night before a franchise opening-night record 2,981 in an A-League game at Kuntz Stadium.

Chris Duff scored the deciding goal in the fourth round of the shootout. Blast goalkeeper Nick Pasquarello made a clutch save on Cincinnati's Craig Yacks in the fifth round to preserve the victory.
