Johnston homer lifts Campbell Co.

        Junior right fielder Rodney Johnston smacked a two-run homer in the fourth inning to give host Campbell County a 3-0 lead on the way to a 4-2 victory over St.Henry.

        Campbell County extended its winning streak to five games and improved to 12-16 on the year.

        Johnston's homer was his second of the year. Freshman Kip Mason also hit a solo shot in the fifth.

        Senior Rob Holtz went 6ô innings for the victory.

        • Bellevue 11, Heritage 1, at Bellevue — Chris Clemons started a seven-run rally in the second inning with an RBI single.

        John Clemons, Chris' older brother, and pitcher Mike Gullett each drove in three runs.

        • Bishop Brossart 10, St. Patrick 0, at Bishop Brossart — Justin Seiter blasted a three-run homer in the third inning, his third in two games.

        Brad Kohls picked up his first victory of the year, allowing four hits in five innings.
