        375,000 Paper cups filled with water available on the course for the runners.

        $10,000 Total prize money being offered. An additional $8,000 is being offered to wheelchair participants.

        7,500 Bananas and an equal number of bagels being given to the runners as a last-second source of carbohydrates.

        3,455 Ohio runners entered, the most from any state as of Monday. (Kentucky had 718 and Indiana has 229.)

        2,000 Adhesive bandages available at the medical stations.

        185 Port-a-potties on the course.

        61.8 Percentage of first-time marathon runners in Sunday's field (1,663 men and 1,364 women).

        40 Approximate percentage of women entered

        18, 77 Ages of the youngest and oldest entrants. The largest age group is 35-39 with 1,137 entrants.

        9 Countries represented (Austria, Germany, England, Canada, Mexico, India, Japan, Philippines)

        6:00 Time Sunday morning that organizers suggest you arrive at Fountain Sqaure downtown for the race that begins at 7:05.
