DAYTON, Ohio The city's minor league team will be called the Dayton Dragons.
The team announced the name and logo Monday on Courthouse Square.
The crowd cheered when a tarp was raised to reveal a towering, green inflatable dragon.

Construction has begun on a $23 million downtown stadium where the Dragons will play.
The team, which is owned by Mandalay Sports Entertainment, now plays in Rockford, Ill., as the Rockford Reds.
